Main Features POC Ventral Air Mips Helmet
The Poc VENTRAL AIR MIPS helmet combines aerodynamics with high ventilation and safety. Thanks to the precise air inlets and internal air channels for ventilation control at both low and high speed.
POC Ventral Air Mips Helmet
The POC Ventral Air MIPS helmet features a high performance design to provide freshness like never before.
With precise ventilation ports and internal channels to control air intake and exhaust at both low and high speeds, the helmet provides an excellent cooling effect on the entire head.
Its construction allows to improve the aerodynamic profile of the cyclist and minimize resistance. Specific airflow zones improve ventilation and cooling, while the aerodynamically optimized trailing edge reduces turbulence.
The helmet has been developed according to POC's Whole Helmet Concept. It features a fully wrapped unibody shell construction and an EPS liner, offering an ideal balance of weight and safety. The inclusion of the MIPS system improves protection against rotational impacts.
Characteristics:
- Recommended use: Road

Technologies:
MIPS is a leading in-helmet flat displacement technology designed to reduce rotational forces that can result from certain impacts. When a head rotates rapidly and comes to an abrupt stop, the rotational acceleration can cause high levels of stress in brain tissue.
The stretching of the tissue caused by these movements can lead to various types of brain injuries. We believe that helmets equipped with MIPS technology can add a higher level of protection against certain types of impacts. MIPS uses a flat travel system that moves inside the helmet, mimicking the brain's own protection system.
This layer is designed to rotate within the helmet in an attempt to potentially slow or reduce the amount of energy transferred to or from the head. Science tells us that if we can reduce the stress associated with rotational acceleration, we could reduce the risk and severity of brain damage.
